The AC20 advanced compact drive is a highly featured yet economical solution to general purpose motor control applications in the range Of 1.5kW to 180kW. AC20 provides open loop speed or torque control for AC induction or PMAC motors, and with optional encoder feedback card fitted, closed loop vector control of AC induction motors.
AC20 is packed with features normally only associated with system drives, including two 10/feedback expansion option slots, Safe Torque Off and an onboard Ethernet port that supports major industrial Ethernet protocols including ProfiNet and Ethernet IP as standard. Further user installable communications option cards are also available.

◦ Catching a spinning load – « fly-catching »: The fan control algorithms enable the AC20 to detect when a fan is free-wheeling and to regain control of it before running it at the commanded speed.
◦ PID Control: Multiple PID control loops can be programmed to monitor process variables and adjust the speed of the motor accordingly to achieve the required variable setpoint.

Parker drive configuration software Drive System Explorer (DSE) Lite is an easy-to-use drive configuration software package, designed to make programming your application as simple as possible without compromising on functionality.
DSE Lite is based around a straightforward block programming and an intuitive user interface which supports user-defined configurations and offers real- time monitoring and charting. DSE Lite allows the user to create, parameterize and configure user defined applications as well as parameterize and connect fixed Motor Control blocks with up to 200 ‘links’.
Thanks to the online help and pre-configured macro templates, users can achieve the optimum drive configuration without the need to navigate through complicated parameter menus.
